But in the teachings of Jesus Christ, charity is understood to be a trait of character, a deeply-felt way of looking at people, the highest, noblest, strongest kind of love. The prophet Mormon wrote that “charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.”
In this short video from Mormon Messages for Youth, the story is told of a group of young women who experience this love for one of their own – and do something with it.
