Incident to the 70th anniversary of the air raid on Pearl Harbor, the FamilySearch organization has released a short video about this historic day on its YouTube channel.

Part of its Woven Generations series, the two-minute video features a Pearl Harbor survivor talking with his granddaughter and great granddaughter about the harrowing events of December 7th 1941.  The film’s purpose is to illustrate the often deeply personal signficance of family heritage preserved and transmitted across generations.
