In this new message in the “I’m a Mormon” series, we are introduced to a delightful older gentleman living in Northern Germany.

Wilfried Möller is a retired high school principal and an avid hiker who has trekked over 20,000 kilometers — and, at 74 years of age, shows no signs of slowing down.  In the video, he tells about hiking, about volunteer work at a local school, and about his marriage to a sweet white-haired Oma named Dagmar.  And, on his personal page at, Br. Möller explains how he walks in the footsteps of earlier Christian pilgrims.

My former missionary companions and other one-time missionaries to Germany will enjoy listening to the video in German.  If, however, like me, your Deutsch is a little rusty, you can turn on English subtitles by clicking on the “CC” control at the bottom of the YouTube window.
